    daytona defroster fix

just a FYI, not a question...

the defroster was not working in my daytona. I could hear the relay click, bit the light would not come on. I took apart half my interior trying to figure out what was wrong. It turned out the black wire with the red tracer(pos input for defroster) broke somewhere under the passengers side seat. on my 87 shelby Z, the wire ran from the driver side, through the center console to the pass seat, then back into the center console with the window wires. I was able to cut the wire where it runs through the center console, and crimp it onto the switch connector wire, eliminating the part under the pass seat and my defroster now works! I guess it has a sharp 180 under the seat(or so it seems) and the wire broke over time.
95 spirit 3.0/543 15.0@91 N/A, 14.5@96 on a 50 shot RIP 87 shelby Z - project car, maybe I can drive it this year 91 spirit - roll it, chop the top, do some burnouts! RIP
