87GLHS e-brake cover: where does it attach?

I bought a GLHS e-brake cover for my GLHT. I see it has a screw hole in the front, no problem, and then in the back it has a clip that looks like it latches into something to hold the back down.

Does anyone know where this back clip latches into?

I'm going from memory. It seems the front screws to the e-brake frame while the rear clips onto the cover itself. I would run out to check, but...

LOL... I just checked mine... Front has the flip under piece that is screwed in place, The back just smaps on... no attaching screw... get it most of the way down and just give it a shot with your palm and it will lock in place

Ok, but when you smack the back down, what does it clip into??

Reason I ask is car originally had a full console, so Im just making sure there isnt suppose to be a different bracket attached in the back for it to work.
