Went ahead and got out yesterday. Was a 3.05. Was a bear. Couldn't get right axel out or right wheel off. Damaged studs. Ended up droping engine out bottom. Hot. Phil
Is there a way to identify a 3.05/525 in a L body in the car without a ID tag. It's at upull. Need road gear. Hate to pull( too hot in sunshine) and find too low a ratio to use. Thanks Phil

FYI. Got new China built axel from O'rielly's for my Rampage. Spline would go only about 1/4" in. The axel would go into another spare trans I had. Decided to use some force. Had a devil of a time...
