In series, they'll basically run at half speed.... because each fan only sees 6 volts, the 12V is divided between them.

The fuse does not regulate the current to them on a normal basis, it's to...

Cut half the coils then put in 2 solid rubber "spring helpers" each side... :D

For rebuilder cores you miiight get lucky at $200, depending on how broke or desperate to get rid of them someone is.
  5. Re: Sundance 6g72 "3.0 turbo build thread"(N/A DYNO SHEET pics inside)

Well if you get your front end nice and tight, you'll feel it's your back end kicking you around... so you'll want to do both in the end.. if it saves anything getting it all together now, go for it...
  6. Re: Sundance 6g72 "3.0 turbo build thread"(N/A DYNO SHEET pics inside)

    .. sanity.

    D50 or Raider
  9. Re: Sundance 6g72 "3.0 turbo build thread"(N/A DYNO SHEET pics inside)

If you give the valves plenty of room to breathe, deshroud them huge, when you get the head done, the compression might drop a bit. Not sure if I'm remembering right for head volume but I've got the...

Think it's the white PVC the stuff they make tater cannons out of, is best stuff to use, but joints won't flow all that well.

  12. Re: Sundance 6g72 "3.0 turbo build thread"(N/A DYNO SHEET pics inside)

Here's hoping, but that fuel spray will displace a bit of air, which means your effective intake CFM for air drops a bit. So you gain something with e85, but also may lose something. Just thinking...
  13. Re: Sundance 6g72 "3.0 turbo build thread"(N/A DYNO SHEET pics inside)

We barely ever see these things going over 20 psi with getting hairy as F#@K, so... 4 bar is not an upgrade, it's a lack of resolution for street tuning.
  14. Re: Sundance 6g72 "3.0 turbo build thread"(N/A DYNO SHEET pics inside)

Well it could also remove stress risers and have a "peening" effect too, so could be a coin toss whether they end up stronger or weaker.
  15. Re: Sundance 6g72 "3.0 turbo build thread"(N/A DYNO SHEET pics inside)

Damn, just realised, injector sizing HP guesstimate for 6 cyl is just add a zero to the lb/hr... or take a zero off HP target to spitball inj size.

  16. Re: Sundance 6g72 "3.0 turbo build thread"(N/A DYNO SHEET pics inside)

Hummm, 95lb injectors at 48psi (stock pressure) give around 1000 horsies worth of fuel, 80% duty cycle... I think "in over your head" in terms, of keeping it together and managing to get it to do...
  17. Re: Sundance 6g72 "3.0 turbo build thread"(N/A DYNO SHEET pics inside)

I haven't got the right numbers, however, I've seen it tossed around that the stock port flows over 200 cfm at 310 lift. Then I've seen Brent saying something like 250 at 400 for his mild port job,...
  18. Re: Sundance 6g72 "3.0 turbo build thread"(N/A DYNO SHEET pics inside)

Hmmm, not sure if that's a sensible question, since if you have infinite flow, you only need the cam open for half a degree...

I think you need to start with a number for head flow and see if the...
  19. Re: Sundance 6g72 "3.0 turbo build thread"(N/A DYNO SHEET pics inside)

Congrats on the NPPL thing.... never know with stuff like that, sometimes ESPN or someone is looking for something "different" and all of a sudden there's real money flying around.

Nice CTS, when's the supercharged corvette motor and brembo calipers going in?
  21. Re: Sundance 6g72 "3.0 turbo build thread"(N/A DYNO SHEET pics inside)

So "Got it bandaided back together, might be putting down 200HP now, fed up of the thing, anyone wanna run for pinks?" translates as "Fully built on 20 PSI, run me if any of you suckers wanna lose...
