I think this belongs in another thread.....VIGO powers activate!

My daily spirit was originally an a604 car. It was pretty darn decent 15.48@88mph with very basic mods (home depot CAI, 58mm tb,...

Re: My v6 Drag Week build

Well, disconnect the controller and try pure wastegate and maybe you can hook up + findout how much boost you should be making on the spring you have.

Re: My v6 Drag Week build

Ed, you mess with your wastegate yet? Many Chinese wastegates can fit Tial springs though they might not give the same boost (no idea). Hard to imitate high elevation at your house.

Re: My v6 Drag Week build

See how much boost you get with no boost controller. Best to run the spring that supports near your minimum boost (which seems to be 12psi) so that you have expandability. If you have a 4 or 6psi...

Re: My v6 Drag Week build

What spring are you using in the wastegate? You only get so much boost over baseline spring, and it hurts a lot more at high elevation. Sometimes guys have to take apart their grainger and play with...

A lot of big dollar turbo cars now just seem to vent and concentrate on having a generous box to filter through. Think I saw one car where the giant (empty and light) tank was located where you...

I wonder what a "smart" method would be to set the tension on the belt? T3's use some sort of gauge right?

Pull the valve out of your compression tester and attach an air line to it. Should be easy to see if you have a massive leak at the valves.
