Man, I'm sorry to hear it Ed. Good luck getting the Spirit in order. I'm still swamped thrashing a bit on my Shadow, which is why I haven't posted any updates, but I'm still on track.

Got it...didn't realize it was a different engine. Were any of the other bearings bad? What about the mains? If it was oil starvation or other oiling issue, I would expect to see wear or problems...
My guess is that if it broke a piston, it was detonating at some point, which likely beat up the bearing.
Ed..that sucks on the bearing. Good luck on the rebuild.
Been swamped at work lately so not too much progress since least thread updates. All the mock up work is done, engine bay is completely empty again for cleaning and painting and dash and heater box...
