  1. Re: Gauging Interest..... We are working with a wire harness manufacturer........

Definitely starter and charging harnesses would be something to think about Chris like Todd said. They are impossible to locate.
  2. Re: L-Body/Rampage Heater Core Replacement Instructions

Nice part is you can clean any pivot points and make sure all the door work correctly. I did it with mine a couple months ago and the doors move so much easier now.

    Re: Stalling and misfire

Makes me wonder about the cal. Is it a 3 bar cal? Have you tried a regular turbo map to see if it runs better?

Re: Hard to get into gear

Not necessarily. It might work fine with the engine off. Most manuals I have worked on have been like that. You need to look at the internals IMO.

Re: Turbo after the Cats ????

You can run it after the cats no problem. There have been rear mount turbo kits out for years for corvettes and a few other cars. Do a search.

Is the Rust hole in the trunk at the back panel?
  8. Re: My project that nobody else is doing because it is my project!

No pictures yet, but I am making some headway on removing the drip rails. They are off and I am almost done welding the roof at the door opening above the pass door. If it had not been for the rust...

    Re: Code 13

So the map sensor is the baro sensor when the engine is off? I ask because that is how GM's do it.

    Re: Which pistons for this?

Besides, Certain models of the Keith black pistons are heat treated too. Just like the ones I have in 89 mm bore. And they are floating pins.

Positive Re: PolyBushings NEW L-Body Dogbone Mount

I suspect you will have issues or a knocking noise when the rubber gets beat out of it.
  14. Re: '89 Daytona TBI - Running rich and popping at idle

The regulators can leak and add fuel. Check it and the injector O-rings like stated above.
  15. Re: Using Petroleum Jelly - Fuel Pump & Grommet Placement

The little bit of silicone used wouldn't hurt an O2 sensor. Now if he took a handful and threw it in the tank, yes.

Re: 88 New Yorker HVAC issues

It doesn't leak back, but rather the pressures equalize since the compressor is not running. Not trying to be a d*ck about it, just rather see the appropriate terminology.

Re: 88 New Yorker HVAC issues

If the pressure goes to 0 and the compressor cycles a lot, you have a leak.

1993 Shadow 10.25 front calipers clips

Guys, I never had to do brakes on any of these cars with this style brake. How does the rectangular clip go on the upper slide of the caliper bracket? Thanks.
  22. Re: My project that nobody else is doing because it is my project!

Yeah Randy, it was installed with urethane. The guy was good. He purposely kept it away from the clip posts. He said after I get the clips in, he'll come back on fill it in around the edge of the...

Re: Hard to get into gear

Either something with the linkage is slightly out and only enough for first to be the issue or something internal to the trans is bent or broken. That is what I take away from this so far.
  25. Re: Looking for company that can rebuild fast ratio L-body rack

Sure thing Todd. Looks like a place in Mich. is a good choice too. Thinking of sending my old unit out or finding a rebuild kit for mine, also.
