    Meanwhile, back at the SMEC diagram, there is mention of Fuse J2. Can see all kinds of references to J2 on sheet H8 but no sign of a Fuse J2. All the rest of the fuses have numbers but no letters....

    The blue/yellow wire that is supposed to bring the +12v to the ASD, but is not doing so, comes out of the SMEC. I believe that I have been SMEC'd.

    According to to the wiring diagram, at least the way it looks to me, both the fuel pump and the ignition coil get their +12V through the ASD, which means it would have to be activated...

    Fuel pump is good. 12v to the pump connector at the tank, plenty of fuel flow. Returning to the fray.
