You know.. these exhaust manifold don't look anything like the mexican exhaust manifolds pictured in the other thread.. are the Mexican Turbo Exhaust Manifolds different from the Mexican TBI...

Unhooking the kick down cable will help with that.. but if its really down shifting, sounds like he is running the wrong transfer gear.

If he is on a 1/4 mile track, and he is running the stock...

It is a 2.5 block with 2.2 pistons in it..

and compression will be around 13:1, a lot of advance, but racing fuel to make up for it.
