I don't think that's your issue, but probably ground related. I think you've seen this issue before and definitely a bad wire somewhere.

Man I would have loved to get those wheels, especially the condition they are in. Glad they are going to a good cause! Also cool to know those wheels are 6.5 " and not just 6". Seems little, but...
