Yeah theres not alot of old TDs in TX. And even fewer that hit the tracks. Would guesstimate less than 25 including a TD junkyard outside Houston. Id hit you up, but im laid up after Dr sliced me...
Damn that sucks! Even if it was together and available for sale, they couldnt get anything for it. Would of ended up same way. Very sad :(
Geez,Im on the fence of fixing the 8 valve motor again or goin 16v. And this is somethin needed for way too long. When will the others be up for sale? Maybe get one in case. :eyebrows:
Who knew there were Omni haters in the stands?lol Thnx Turbogod for defending the Omni. Sistah coulda kicked your --- for bein a wise guy;). Subtitles would be cool, but u can hear of the chimp like...
Make sure the motor is centered before wasting time with axles. Sounds like motor needs pushed over to the rt/pass side. Probably bottoming inner joint. Might as well check all mounts too
Hey thnx for the identification help guys. Knew someone would recognize em here.:thumb:
Hellofa sleeper there:thumb:. Play with cam timing any? Likely to find more in it.
Possible. I remember the Chry tech teacher we had talkin about an R/T at the proving grounds that the first gen Viper couldnt shake off down the straights.lol. Thank goodness the Viper finally got...
Have 2 NIB TBI pistons with box dated 1/93 and part number 4626119. $10 plus ship. Dont have it in a shipping box to calculate yet,but could guesstimate under 15 to ship from 75116 zip. Fits...
Bought an intercooler along with pipe/hose/clamp kits and had no issues. Pipes had beaded ends which was nice. Hoses never split. Occasionally clamp would break upon removal, but thats common for the...
RIP fellow car guy. Probalby bangin some heavenly gears right now
Hope hes got a spare then. Theyre not really known to be that stout in the internals. Tone ring bolts for the crank sensor tight on the back of crank?
Personally never had issues with a Duralast pump before. USE SILICONE LIKE FACTORY DOES AND NO PAPER GASKET. Assuming youre not using the o ring style pump in a GLHS. Inspect pump for cracks,etc...
T2'd wagon looks good. Looks pretty clean in pics. Esp for a northern car:nod: Surge noise shouldnt be as loud on auto as a manual. My Charger sounded like one of the 3 stooges goin wuwuwuwoo. Lotta...
What did you use to seal the water pump with? Silicone as required or a gasket? Fix your problem instead of going with a band-aid. That crap can let loose at very bad times ya know. But if you put...
Uhh you sure you meant 350,not an 850? The TOB fork for the 850 has the hardness of cold butter and wear out pretty rapidly. Guessin that you felt the input shaft for play, flywheel for cracks(if...
To each their own. Just let em know bout the small details before throwin the dizzy in and it runs even worse. Jus sayin:). OP, make sure the wheel is secure for reliability in long run:nod:
Well it sure wont help. Have pulled many off that were leaking, but still ran good and didnt notice any noise before seeing. If your in a pinch, then you might as well give it a try
Uhh i beleive the TBI dist is different. Thats why they have diff pickup plates. One has a window in the shutter wheel or reluctor wheel i think its called. Ill think of correct term after i post...
If your talkin bout from timing gear bolt to firewall, then mine was 12 3/4 staright back. Hope that helps
Nice lookin box
Oh boy. At least try another. Definately save ya some head scratchin time. Esp if its been in water
Thought main purpose of a winter beater was that you dont worry bout looks or anything. Just reliability. Somethin you can beat hell out of til spring came. Then out comes the cars you cleaned up or...
That sucks. The motors barely broken in
