In all the years of working with these cars I have never seen a fuel rail fail, unless abused during installation or removal... commonly it's the O-rings and not the rail....

This appears as significant effort regarding fuel pressure regulators and rails...
When everything is done properly an adjustable unit should not be necessary, to reduce the effort.
