I'd stick with paper for a daily driver.
  3. Re: 2001 2.4 motor with 2.5 rods and pistons.

I guess, but if you ever wanted to upgrade to better off-the-shelf pistons and rods, which is one of the benefits of the more popular 2.4 platform, then you'd have to go and find another block.

    Re: Floor Pan Restoration

When I fixed the floor of my Rampage, I ordered a half-floor section for an early Mustang. It wasn't a drop-in replacement by any stretch but it gave me some nice clean metal to work with, and the...

As others have said, to use the PT harness and computer, you will also need the cluster and ignition switch, and matching ignition key from the PT. There may or may not be a way to get around that...

Re: Spirit R/T wheel offset confusion

Remember that offset is measured from the wheel centerline, so a 6" wheel with a 35mm offset is going to have 1" less backspacing than a 8" wheel with the same offset.
As your choice of wheels goes...

    Re: Red Baron

Look at some of the tools you have in Tunerstudio to tame it down. Nobody likes to give up power, but you can't win a race if you're swapping lanes either.

If it were me, I'd step up to a 17. Many more tire options, in the right sizes to fill the wheel well.

    Re: 2.5L TIII distributor

Seems like a lot of work to retain the OE engine management. You have to start weighing the benefits of aftermarket vs the limitations of OE vs cost.

    Re: Red Baron

    Relax. It's gonna be fine.

FYI, there is really no way to prime the 2.4 before cranking it, so my advice is to pull the plugs and let her free crank with no compression until you see oil pressure.
