Fluid level is good.
Decided to drive my '89 LeBaron with A413 auto for a few days last week. Hasn't been out of the yard in a year or so, less than 2000 miles total in the last 5 years. When cold and reversing out of...
Aha, didn't know that. Cal and AFPR are the last pieces of my puzzle before I add some beef to my '89 Shadow. Just has RMVB, T3 turbo, 3" exhaust and +20s right now. Intercooler, ported/polished two...
Has anyone done this? If so, can you give some details on how? Sounds like a great idea, using some sort of switches connected to my auto trans.
Randy
Here's how I did my '89 LeBaron. Kept the A/C for those hot days, battery in stock location, and stock airbox. PM me if you have any questions, Randy....
My new project Shadow had a good bit of oil in the intercooler lines, so while I have it all apart, I figured I'd rebuild the turbo. Found the front carbon seal in six pieces, not a surprise.

I've never tried it, but what I've read is:
"If you want to just test the digi dash, take the unit out, give RED and BLUE/WHITE 12 volts, BLACK/ORANGE and BLACK/GREEN negative, the dash should...
Good to know, I feel safer now. It'd be a pain in the arse to change them all.
<<Does the center cap even fit over those lugs?>>
Center caps fit fine over the lugnuts.
Thanks, now verified by a trusted source
Have yet to install the Garrett T2 I got from you almost a year ago. STILL waiting for a three inch swingvalve......I could have fabricated one...
My concern is will the anaerobic seal properly with the gaskets in place. Looks like it's made to cure between two bare metal surfaces, don't know that it will cure properly onto the gaskets.
So, you're saying to remove the retainers, clean off gaskets, and use just anaerobic. I'm thinking that's the proper method also. Wonder why they even make those gaskets if Dodge never used them...
Recently got an '89 Shadow and have it torn apart for rebuild. The wastegate rod has been modified, not pretty. Previous owner installed a T3 turbo, and what looks like a large can wastegate. The...
Recently got an '89 Shadow with pumper wheels. Found that on all four wheels, the lug nuts only thread about halfway on. I'm thinking that maybe the car came with crabs and previous owner put the...
My FSM and Haynes manuals both say to use anaerobic sealant for the crankshaft front and rear seal retainers. The lower end gasket set I bought has gaskets for both. I used the gaskets and a light...
I'm rebuilding my '89 2.5 motor and ready to install the cylinder head. '89 and above are cross-drilled, right?, and should use the 006 gasket. After reading this thread last month, I bought the...
Yahoo, sending PM.
I've searched for dye of the right color, can't seem to find it. Even bought some "SEM" brand, but was not the right shade. Is there someplace that you can recommend for dye, or anywhere that can...
Can't seem to find a decent console lid. For my '89 LeBaron, light blue.
Thanks, Randy

Blessed by the Pope! :amen:
Thanks to all for compliments received.......I try to keep it clean under the hood, hate working on grimy motors. Also helps that I rebuilt the motor last year and...
I wanted to intercool my '89 LeBaron while keeping the originial battery location, cruise control, airbox, and A/C. Not much room with all that stuff in there. Determined that 2 1/4" pipe was as...
When I installed 3" exhaust from the downpipe back, with a high flow cat and magnaflow straight thru muffler, I expected my Mitsu to creep, but it's still rock solid (set at 12 psi with MBC until the...
I've been reading on this forum occasionally for a few months now. Hadn't even realized that I never registered until I went to post a reply to this thread :D (Also read this thread for the first...
