This is correct but remember you still need 12V switch on pin 11 of the SMEC with the zener bypass modification. I hope to install mine soon..
Hi Jeff,
Here is the link that should answer all your questions.
https://sites.google.com/view/mpflash
Yes indeed, production started last week and a number of SMEC and SBEC have been produced. Now to verify and test all four bins of each flash for proper operation. As funny as it sounds,...
I am planning to make a design change to support 32 and 64K binaries. I am expect to start this once my CSX powertrain has been refreshed, hopefully the CSX will be on the road in the next month or...
Looks great Wayne

For troubleshooting, could you try on another device or computer?

Hi Brian,
The A15, A16 and A17 address line of the 39SF010 (or 39SF020 for OctoPlay) are tied to GND with a 10K pulldown resistor. I have label these as Z15, Z16 and Z17 on the PCB due to the...
Hi Wayne,
Could you make a 1 minute video to show everyone how the two switch option works?
We have discussed these and a number of other items.
1)I am working on creating schematics for the SMEC, SBEC1 and 2. The goal is to figure out how we can have a good supply of ECUs for the future....
Change to SMEC for the win!
Not a problem as I am working on a number of other TM tasks.
Thank you Sir!
Just a reminder, if you want a SBEC2 module. We need to know if it is a 377, 652 or 910 PCB board. If you are unsure we can help.
Also the SBEC is either 90 or 91 and the PCB board is 025.
An...
Here is a picture of the first run of version 1.0.
Thanks Bill for your offer to help, Both Wayne and I have SBEC powered cars so we should be good for final test.
If we need another SBEC tester I will ping you.
Update,
The various modes (SMEC,SBEC and SBEC2) have been assembled and tested on the bench and work as expected.
Currently assembling units for multiple test on real cars..just to make sure....
Thanks Wayne, this is very nice
If you buy a Single, it is ready for multiplay by adding a switch, connector, two diodes and a wire from the ECU to the cabin
