The only part on the block I touched was near the upper engine to trans mounting bolt location. I just barely skimmed it to clear my custom starter strap.
It was probably not necessary though. The...
I have not made up my mind yet. I'm leaning towards a rear mount with a custom heat shield. I believe this will give me the needed room up front for my custom intake and intercooler piping.
No Issues...

I just picked up the NipponDenso Starter today; so stay tuned for the fitment of that.........
Thanks guys! Any recommendations on MS vendors? Im sure I will need a good bit of phone time with them for my initial setup.
Well here is the short story... I have an MSI and want or need to get something different. I will be running a 2.4l Turbo Engine with individual coils per cylinder.
I want something that meets all...
I have a 1985 plymouth Horizon. It is originally a power steering car. What is needed to convert to a manual steering rack setup? Part numbers and photos would be super helpful! Thanks in advance.
Sweet Project! Very Clean. Subscribed. :peace:
I bought it from a guy who had it sitting out at his farm on Newark road in Beloit. He was a Chrysler employee down in Belvidere when they were still producing the Omni and Horizon. I think he now...
I'm not sure if it is original or not. The paint job is really rather nice and was well done. :confused2:
HaHa, I hear ya! That conn rod is actually from the smallest engine we build. Some of our larger ones have man hole cover sized cylinder bores.

I'm knocking the price down to $300.00
I also yanked out the engine and transmission today. It hurt a little to do it, the engine ran so good. If anyone needs a good 2.2 or auto trans I'm going to sell them....
Well I'm finally back at it. After being pulled every which way with other projects and opening a new shop its time to get back on the horse.
Today I started mocking up the engine and transmission...

Here is my Build thread using a PT Power Plant. This may help you with some questions
Here is my coil setup I will be running. These are GM style LS7 coils with the heat sink. They seem to be a popular coil for swap applications. I still have to polish up the bracket but this should...
I will be running the A568 transmission as is for now with 1989 or 1990 automatic car Omni axles. I will be machining my own strap kit when it comes time for my rebuild. For now I have a lot of...
