I 2nd this. You may want to confirm that the LM you received is for 86 and older (GLHS style), and not the 87 non-L body LM. From what I gather, most LM cals are 87 non-L body. I'm not sure if FWD...

Wow I missed this thread. Cool car for sure. A friend of mine has one. Couple funny points. He's an autobody painter and owns a stainless car. And his name is Marty :D
Well thats hard to say. I haven't been to a 1/4 mile in awhile since it's a bit of a trek for me but BEFORE I went to the TIII I did take it and was trapping 101 with huge traction problems AND...
Similar, but faster
My SC runs TIII turbos :eyebrows:
Concensus would probably say that YES they will fit. But no, they're not ideal. It will flop around alot and have a kinda unstable feel when cornering hard. Stock Shelby Z's feel floppy with 225's...
no. can I have it? :D
I'm about 90% for going. About 50% for bringing my car. You should post this up on the local board too. With a couple of us from up here heading down, we might be able to wrangle a few more with...
JB weld can hold for awhile. Done it in the bush. Another bush trick, clean out the fins around the hole, cut the tube, roll up the tube so it won't leak. It won't cool THAT much worse minus one...
Yay for the internet archive ;)

I remember reading year back about that goo that drips all over the place. Derek Beland used to have a page on his old site detailing replacement (repair??) of that unit. When I had my Daytona, I...
Thats pretty cool. One of our local guys did one like that a few years ago only a fair bit shorter. His is also running to a sealed box where he's got the intake mounted. One of the other guys in...
Wow those look really nice. Love the silver on silver look. Just fits the car beautifully
Reach down the back and check the wastegate arm. It may have lost it's retaining clip and popped off. You'll feel it flopping around if it's loose.
Aside from pulling all over the road, I'm impressed that you were able to make an E46 M3 look slow. They're capable of 12's with just better tires!
I think the Rota's look a little better, BUT, I've never been a fan of the exposed multi-lug look. Unless the car is "all business", or thats the look you're after, I'd keep looking. But thats just...
If you're not worried about keeping the car, just start it in 1st and match revs to shift. Thats how I got home when mine snapped at the clutch arm on the trans. :D
I actually managed to get an angle grinder in there once! But that was a Daytona. My Charger I cut the downpipe off and pulled it through cuz I knew I was putting a bigger downpipe in anyways...
I find it easier to get at from underneath, when beating, cutting, wrenching, cursing at those downpipe bolts :)
Tell him "I don't have to listen to you because you're not a real cop". He shows you his badge, you tell him "If my badges are lying, then so is yours"
Someone on Cardomain listed it at 360 92 T1 Spirit ES'.
Dunno if thats considered rare or not
I guess I've inadvertently picked up some rare TM's in my time.
My 87 SC is non-A/C
I've got the 1 of 289 `89 Lancer Shelby (both options of auto trans and power sunroof)
And I hear the `92...
Very cool car. I've wanted a Regal GS for awhile for a daily, but MY girl says the same thing about "old people cars".
I DID get her interested in a newer Bonneville SSEI (She's a 3rd gen Trans Am...
A local guy here left the stock pedal in place, but rigged the release to the thumb button on his T-handle shifter. So he rolls into the box, hits the brake with his foot, does his burnout and...
Oh and thanks for giving me an excuse to pop my hood for the first time in 4 months! hahaha
