I think that number should correlate to the build order. My car is stamped "Race Car 21" and inside the doors and a bunch of panels they wrote "21" with a sharpie.

I would probably pull the trigger to swap for a gen 5 Viper.
That can probably be accounted for in the fact my elevation here is 3 times that of you. 3500 ft above sea level versus 1200 or 1250.
I went out and bought a donor car to do this, it's looking like a lot of work. But making over 300 wheel at 14 PSI is very tempting when to do that in the 8-valve, it's about 23 PSI.
That was my...
I am! and the funds were sent. Now the waiting game!
Come on be mine!
Same here, just got a new version of the original speedo and figured the gps is more accurate anyways.
If you're looking for parts for the rear fiero brakes I just found a site that you can get anything you need.

The last three digits of mine are 008, but I read the owners manual front to back and in there it says those race car tags are the order they were built in. I'll try find it again.
Mine is car #21 and it still has the round wheel openings. The #17 car there only has 1 fan on the back though, so somewhere between 17 and 21 they switched to 2.
Same size as some GM's. There werw a few years of trucks, but they are also the same size as 1997-2002 trans ams. There's not a whole lot of options for upgrades being they are an odd size, too bad...
Still puts a smile on my face every time these cars get that reaction!
What are you using for EMS? I was thinking of going either Haltech or Megasquirt depending on how well I got mine up and running.
Looking good! Even found a 2 piece intake I see, or was that on the engine already?
Looking sharp!
I don't think I've ever measured them.... they aren't 4x6??
Just tossing out a feeler if anyone has an extra set of the 3 piece wheels that the race cars had, and would be interested in selling.
Thanks
Ive got the square corners so would need that and would be interested in 1. Hell I'll take 2 if it helps.
Brilliant, keep us in the loop!
Mine had a non-common block as well, common block is now in place.
#21 was at 33,000 miles when I got it 2 years ago. It had the problem with the speedo when it would be pinned when you fired it up and would be like that for a few hours. my 3,000 mile trip home said...
Np, I've found just about all of our gauges on cip1.com I have picked up 4 so far and has been a good experience each time.
Mine has the vac line right to the back of it.
I got a pair of these when I still had my aries...

I got the bigger size ones not the jr's but the juniors look like they are the same size as the GTP...
For cooling definitely it would help but won't help with your flow (CFM)
