do we have to own a turbo mopar in order to attend this cookout?

the newer style mopar caps have four "nubs" on the periphery, the ones for the older mopars including all the old turbo mopars, have just two nubs.
I sold my 1986 GLHS last year for $16,500 but I had to spend $22,000 to get the $16.5K (Note: But I got $100,000 worth of fun out of it).
Adjusted for inflation, a bunch of 60's musclecars are...

i have the Car and Driver road test for the 1985 GLH Turbo in .pdf format. If you want it, send an email to markglhs@aol.com and I'll send it to you.
all of the confirmed unmolested 86 GLHS cars i have seen, including my ex #126, have the lower intake manifold unpainted, bare aluminum.
86 SHELBY's data above is very interesting and is in line...
either way, it will work fine.....its just a matter of which will work best.
i would say the closer to the wastegate can the better..minimize the length of tubing between the GV and the wastegate...
DR. VOLLER your 86 GLHS sounds like a very nice survivor based on the description and info you provided.
In April of this year I sold my 86 GLHS, 39,000 miles, in very nice original condition, for...
FRANCOIS not sure about the center console flip out light on the Chargers. if you had non-ac Chargers with that light than clearly there was a configuration difference between Omnis and Chargers.
as i said in post #3 above FRANCOIS the center console flip out light was not part of the Light Group option, rather, it was part of the Air Conditioning option on all omni/horizons.
My 1st turbo mopar, a 1985 GLH Turbo, black over silver, had the Light Group, as well as the Protection Group and air conditioning and a full size spare tire, the car was loaded, only option missing...
Seems not a lot of GLH's were ordered with the Light Group option:
-passenger side sun visor map light
-ignition key light
-ash receiver light
-cig lighter light
-glove box light
Many folks...
I heard of the 2.2L H.O. engine being available in the Plymouth Horizon in 1984 (there is a claim I read that just 84 were built this way) but I had not heard it was also in the non-GLH Omni, that...
Todd I have to go dig up and scan and post up the pix of the very 1st 86 GLHS prototype. But, I have all those articles boxed up and sent to the new owner of my GLHS!
It indeed had the low-back...
Jonny I sold the car at a reduced price, so I deleted many of the "extras", opting to sell those items separately, like the extra wheels. Besides, these slicks are too small for your 400 hp GLHS...
Gene good idea....take a 86 GLHT and make it into the prototype 86 GLHS. you would need a silver vinyl interior out of a standard Omni, and get Positive Impressions to replicate the decals, and get...
The wheels on the prototype GLHS are Fitipaldi (sp?) aftermarket wheels that were the rage back in the day. I do suspect they inspired Carroll's original design for the Centurion I wheel.
Someone...
Gene will be here Tuesday to pick these up folks, he's very reliable so looks like these are sold. If not, I can post pix. thanks.
sale is pending with Gene (T-BOHN). I'll let everyone know if the sale doesn't go thru. thanks again for your interest.
SVODAVE did not like the UPS shipping cost to Houston so he bailed........wheels and tires are now available again.
SVODave already sent me an email agreeing to buy the set so for now, they are sold, sorry. if the transaction does not go through i will let you know T-Bohn. thanks.
i want to sell the slicks w/ the wheels since they are mounted and balanced, sorry.
price is w/o shipping. from CT to TX i would guess UPS ground would be about $40-$50 total.
