Well, I know there's a few stereo people that love our cars, but I'm not sure how much response you will get inside of another thread. I suggest starting your own with the same questions.

I have wondered this for a while. I mean, I know you can get injectors in both types, but I think I remember there is an advantage to the type we *don't* run. The question is, can the other hardware...
I have both. ;) The TC that I drove to Memphis had several non-stock paint coats on it as I have found while doing the body work. TC's have the PPG paint information on the hood up by the windshield...
Wow...it seems like that could be done much more efficiently. I'm sure the hardware and required coding language are the limitations.
As said, factory paint is base/clear. I do believe that the '84 color is in fact Garnet Red. There's different shades of it used over the years. My 90 looks to be a similar color, but it has more...
Daytona wheelbase is 97"...hmmm....
Needed to update this.
I measured the wheel base and the left was too far forward by about 1/8". So, I ended up just cutting the bushings and rearranging the pieces to space the control arm back....
I tend to agree that a well set-up suspension on these cars doesn't necessarily need a front sway bar. I find the car rides better and handles just as well, but doesn't get upset when hitting bumps....
You are correct. I found the original group buy thread and the answer was there. I felt kinda dumb after that. :(
This verifies all of the things I've pretty much thought was correct for a...
So now we have roughly 8 people seriously interested?
Well...I'm not good personal friends with Brian, and I understand his reasons for not making more (though I am bummed about it), so if someone that knows him well knows what kind of beer he likes,...
If you have one of Brian's tubular K-frames and you aren't going to use it, don't need it anymore, or simply need $$$$, I am in the market. Yes, I know shipping sucks, so yes, I will pay shipping.
5 years later I'm FINALLY installing these! I forgot they were based on the '91-up cast control arms. I ran into a tire interference problem on the left front hitting the front of the wheel well on...
OK, so some time ago there was a group buy for tubular, chromoly control arms. I was fortunate enough to be able to get in on that and got a set. I *FINALLY* got around to installing them on a car...
So, even though the strut hats will bolt in regardless of orientation, there *is* a "correct" orientation for them. Try dropping the strut out of the tower a bit and spin the hat around until the...
I am both happy and sad that it went for what it did. Happy because it's still kind of in the realm of reality for me some day, but sad because it'd be cool if they were worth a bit more.
Todd, I actually knew about the valve to piston and valve to valve issues. I just didn't know where that started happening, especially because we do know that stock lift is something like .330"? I...
Why does it matter what a head flows at a lift that's pretty much physically impossible? I haven't checked yet (Rick Diogo could speak to this maybe), but I don't think the Masi can get a valve .500...
Yeah, it's continuously up for sale...for $150k...
It's more than just the combustion chambers and the studs. The cams change, the entire structure actually changes, gaskets, valve cover, etc etc...
Could it be done? Sure. It would cost more than just casting a custom head, though. Between the materials, machine time, and post-processing to get a truly functional product would shoot the cost...
I've thought the same thing, but holy crap it was bad! I honestly can't see myself driving the car the way I did with the wheel loose like that. Maybe I did and didn't realize it, but man...one...
I agree...sounds like the tilt mount screws came loose. Happened on my '88 somehow while the car was sitting in an airport parking lot! When I parked it, everything was fine. Came back, damn wheel...
I *HIGHLY* suggest the hard coating if you want any sort of longevity out of the drums. Even 7076 T6 won't stand up to sharp steels pounding against it and eventually the drums will get wear notches...
More than I do! LOL I might stuff plugs in the axle seals...maybe shop towels. They go on a moving dolly and shoved in a corner until I need it! I figure that they've been run, so everything is...
