    Yes, MPScan works with the 87 T2 LM Turbonator cal and the factory cal. I remember always having a problem with MPScan causing my idle speed to be too high.

    Yes, you are correct, The alternator ground wire is spliced in to the engine ground wire which connects to the negative side of the battery terminal.

    If you drop the tank, I would replace the strainer on the fuel pump. Cut your old fuel filter open and look for rust on it. I had to replace my tank because it was full of rust.

    A 0.035 in. wire feed welder contact tip would work for a restictor. You could find one up locally to you.

    Connect a fuel pressure gauge to your fuel rail and duck tape it high enough on the windshield so that you or a friend can see it. Go for a ride and watch the gauge.

    I have heard of a lot of premature failures with after market fuel pumps. If you want a stock pump, I would go with a factory mopar replacement fuel pump under old part number 5217852 or new part...
