  5. TIII Re: Bosch 772 manual fuel pressure regulator replacement

Remember the FPR is rising rate, so more boost means more fuel pressure. I do not claim to be incredibly knowledgable in tuning, but I think high 10s to low 11s isnt TOO rich. Hopefully someone...
  6. TIII Re: Bosch 772 manual fuel pressure regulator replacement

14.5 is the perfect mix for air/fuel for fuel efficiency, but will blow your engine up at WOT. The higher the number, the more lean you are running.

Check it at WOT, as part throttle, I believe,...

Re: Hot Rod Drag Week 2019 Registration

It seems this year the live stream will be on the MotorTrend app as opposed to YouTube. They are offering a 14 day free trial for anyone that does not currently have the service.

  8. TIII Re: Bosch 772 manual fuel pressure regulator replacement

If I recall correctly, 11.5 is the safe spot, 12 works great, but not as safe. If you are dipping into the 10s, it's a bit rich. But I believe the FWD Calibrations tend to run on the rich side to...
  9. Re: TIII: Replacement flexible fuel line between fuel rail and hard line.

I was looking for the fitting with the hose attached, but this is what I am running while searching for the single piece.

  10. TIII: Replacement flexible fuel line between fuel rail and hard line.

Does anyone have a good source for the quick disconnect fuel line that runs from the hard line to the fuel rail? I know I could just use fuel line and a clamp, but would like to keep it close to...

    TIII Re: Blow by

The way I was taught to verify a ring problem is to do a compression test, then put a little oil in the cylinder, then do another compression test. If the compression shoots up, the rings are an...

    Re: MPSciLink starting a Group3 Pre-Order

Sorry, I've been very busy lately. But here are the pictures I was talking about. Using the longer allen screws would reach, but I don't think that is the way it's supposed to be.

    Hardware that...

    Re: MPSciLink starting a Group3 Pre-Order

The machine screws are not long enough to go through the bottom of the enclosure, the spacers, the board, and have enough threads to catch the nuts. I can get longer screws, so that's not problem. ...

Are the enclosure assembly instructions different from the video posted for these enclosures? The screw size and quantity seem to be inconsistent with the video.

Got mine yesterday. Did you order extra enclosures? Apparently, I forgot to order one.

Re: TU Clutch Feedback and Big Thanks to Chris!

If going with large spline, wouldn't the TIII clutch be the way to go? I always heard the TIII disc was better than the TII?

Side note: The communications cable listed on the site doesn't appear to be a USB. Will the BootButton cable work for the communications or will it require your cable?

  21. Re: Wideband installed, seems to run a bit rich

Yes, readings taken after fan cycled on.

Not grounded at the battery, grounded to chassis under the dash where the controller box is mounted.
  22. Re: Wideband installed, seems to run a bit rich

Actually running stock electronics. The wideband has a narrowband output.
  23. Wideband installed, seems to run a bit rich
