    Re: Strut mounts

That's the thing, it's the rubber used that doesn't last long. Like I mentioned, the car sits on its wheels most of the time and the rubber becomes concave then stuff starts knocking.

    With that...

I need to purchase new front upper strut mounts for my 87 Charger.
The ones on there now are Raybestos and lasted about 8 years and the right side is knocking and both seem to be sacked out. I...

When you say you get nothing from the computer, what do you mean?
Does the car start? Are you simply not able to read codes?

    Re: Is it worth it?

Personally I would stick with the fast burn head, the GLHS stage 2 LM is called for that head. G head require more timing down low and you will loose compression as well. EVEN MAYBE PURCHASE SOME +1...

    Re: Clutch recommendations

It definitely spun the tires in third, the tires are a brand new set of Toyo R1R's 225-45-15 Once the clutch was released in fourth, I knew right away it was clutch slip and not the tires.
    The...

    Re: Clutch recommendations

I did run the dual diaphragm pressure plate for a number of years until I broke the last one I had. Following that, I switched to the purple plate which was great. Just made the car easier to drive....

    Re: Clutch recommendations

Sound great Chris, I wasn’t aware you could rebuild it. I’ll also need a flywheel.
That said, the car is heading into storage tomorrow afternoon so it will be spring when I pull it out.
    Thanks...

    Re: Clutch recommendations

That was done on purpose, I threw some NOs at it to see how it reacted with the newer engine. I didn’t want to shock it at too low an rpm so I waited until just over 4000 rpm and mashed the pedal.

This video I took last weekend will give you a better idea of what happened when I turned it up. Because I wanted to see how the rpms reacted with the additional power and I don’t make a habit of...

I honestly don’t know what the power band looks like, it’s been a few years since the car has been on the dyno. All I can tell you is full boost hits about 3800 rpm and I typically shift the car...

    Re: 2.2L TII Head Issues

I used to break the stock pistons quite frequently, maybe once a season. I would simply buy four new pistons and a set of rings, give the bores a quick hone, reassemble and back on the road.

Re: Same problem, but with dyno tape now

When you say it falls n its face, does it miss fire? If it does, tighten the plug gap.
If no miss fire, verify fuel pressure as it falls off, see if it drops causing a lack of fuel?
    As mentioned,...

    Re: Speedometer issues (Shelby Lancer)

    Re: Fuel

Exactly. WHich is why I raised to boost on my car to a respectible 20 lbs for the street. If I was heading to the track, I would run C-16 as I always do and turn it up.
