    Re: Piston ID

I don't know how anyone could get away with running an 006 on a non cross drilled block , considering it completely blocks off those coolant passages. I definitely wouldn't purposely do it. I would...

  8. Can a blown turbo oil seal wash down a cylinder and cause low compression?

1987 shelby lancer. For those of you that haven't read my other post :

Engine has 1500 miles on it. Ran fine after rebuild, was then parked for a long time. Now it has 60psi in two cylinders. I...

Re: New guy needs help ( 1987 Shelby Lancer )

It was missing the #10 fuse. It is labeled as back up lights and I had no idea it was for the fan as well. I popped the cover off , saw it was missing , tossed one in and the fan turned on. Haha.

Re: New guy needs help ( 1987 Shelby Lancer )

Unplugging the cts does not make the fan come on. So does this mean the cts is good and I have either a bad relay , computer or wiring issue ?

Re: New guy needs help ( 1987 Shelby Lancer )

I checked the CTS voltage today. It went down to less than 2 so I shut it off. It was definitely too hot. From what I've read it is supposed to turn on at 2.1v...

Re: New guy needs help ( 1987 Shelby Lancer )

I found out where the water was coming from. The hood vent has a water tray under it that drains the water to the side of the engine. There was a broken bolt on the tray so it hung down allowing...

  23. General Re: WANTED : Oil pan bolts for 1987 lancer 2.2

Thanks Chris, I'll place an order right now then. I know it sounds stupid but I just couldn't justify $14 for ground shipping of such a small item. $7 for 2-3 day shipping is much better ! :)
  24. General Re: WANTED : Oil pan bolts for 1987 lancer 2.2

I almost ordered from them and TU but while I appreciate both companies I refuse to pay $14 to ship a handful of small bolts.

    Thanks,
