Description: Looking to sell my turbo z. I just...
All set.
I'm looking for the nut, washers, spacers, and long bolt that make up the upper alternator mount. I'm currently running some hardware store junk, causing the alternator to not sit square and shred...
This engine has been sitting bagged up on my stand for nearly a year now. I doubt anyone there even remembers who built it.

I do have those, yes. They were kept safe a...
I pulled a set of pins out of a spare block. Crisis averted.

The shortblock I got back from the machine shop is missing the head locator pins. Do I need to put some back in the holes or will the head studs locate the head properly?

Second this. I did this to my car. I drilled and helicoiled the holes to fit the stock size exhaust bolts. I remember it used to take me a lot fussing to get those stupid bolt/nuts together before....
maybe I’m wrong, but I think if you plug your mega in to a computer and run the update mpscilink function in mptune (mpscan?) it should flash the correct stuff to it.
You wanna see if your phone can log my car? I’ve got a working setup here and two mpscilink daughter cards to chose from.
My phone app is still 2.0.0.1, but I did just update the firmware on the...
Now THAT'S a beer.
I may have that piece as well. I'll have to check the shop, which is currently a disaster because we just moved.
I just run pump gas. 91 or 93, whichever I find at the station I stop at. Around here they say it may have up to 10 percent ethanol in it. Fuel pump and fuel filter aren’t that old, and the tank was...
No idea. I haven't gone through the wiring harness yet since all my electrical tools are packed up. This is an entirely different engine harness and ECU setup than the last time though. When I built...
Just to bring this back from the dead....I've got another shorted open injector.
When the last one failed I bought a completely new set of 52lb Deka pn4532586, and since then I've switched from...
Anyone have a 52lb injector to spare? I'm moving house on Friday 4/12 and one of my injectors just crapped out. I really don't feel like towing my car.
I had a really nice Tyler VanLant ported head that I couldn't keep rockers in. I tried everything. Several cams, replaced the valves and guides twice, new stock lifters, new PT lifters, a few sets of...
If you look closely at the pictures in the thread about installing the module that you linked, you an see which way the 28c256 is installed. The PCB markings indicate how the 74HC00s are installed.

Work just gave me an iphone. I still have my Pixel, but the "personal use" plan through work is so cheap I kind of want to switch over...I wouldn't mind an iphone version.
I was also thinking...
I did, for a bit. It was kind of finicky to get the MPSciLink talking to the LM if I recall. Once it was talking though it worked pretty good. I never got a chance to fully flesh it out because I...
Well, it matters a little when setting boost targets. If the MAP is reporting incorrectly, one could run in to problems where OB shutdown is either hit too early or too late. But mostly it's for...
Now that I've got a reliable way to log, I've noticed that the MAP value reported by the SMEC doesn't match my (fairly accurate) boost/vac gauge. I see ScaleMAPVoltsToPresAddConst and...
Dude. It's so sweet. Even without the display. Once you get it set up and working, it just works. Hide it away under the dash somewhere, mount your phone running mpscandroid in a holder someplace and...
Still making these? I kinda want one.
