    Re: 1988 LeBaron 4 dr 2.5 TBI

    IT RUNS!!!!

I finally got the furl pump changed and am very happy.

I had a friend come over and do the under car part, I would have never have loosened the lock ring.

    He wiggled the assembly...

Re: Main Bearings Ford Big Block????

    Back on topic:

MS 1533P is the part number for the complete set.

2863P is the individual bearing number for 1-2-4 and 5 position

2864 P is the thrust bearing number

  4. Re: ?? ..Largest diameter tire on stock L body strut and spring..??

Might be a fair trade for anyone running an A-555 L body on the highway. lol

I found 205/55/15 to be the best compromise but the 225/50/15's look nicer.

    16, 17 or 18" wheel/tire combo probably...
  5. Re: ?? ..Largest diameter tire on stock L body strut and spring..??

Detobias also mentioned all the tire sizes he tried including 205/60/15's

There might be a height difference between manufactures etc'

I've seen variances of 1/2" between same size tires,...
  6. Re: ?? ..Largest diameter tire on stock L body strut and spring..??

I ran both 205/55/15 and 225/50/50 on my Omni.

    Both are listed as 23.9"

As I remember 195/60/15 at 24.2" were too tall

    Thanks

Suspension Re: WTB: rear coil springs for GLH Turbo

I put an entire S/C suspension under an 86 Omni automatic a few years ago.

It sits normal but I do remember flipping the spring seats over.

    Interesting about the KYB's.

    Thanks
