Cleaned up the wiring....

Car is running a standalone ecu - electromotiv is the brand.
But it's just not fully dialed in. We are running like 13psi. Controlled by the ECU.

The tune is still pretty low on power, the brakes need work - pedal way too firm, adjust shifter linkage etc.

Overall was great , ran well( I did run her out of gas...) No mechanical issues....

Race car #88 back on the track!! We made it out to PBIR on Tuesday. Lots of bugs to be sorted out. But we did it !!
Couldn't get paint done in time , and rather then miss some testing time we opted...

Was at Sebring this weekend. Via a friend - found another Consulier.

More body repairs - as noted above rear tow hook was not mounted to any metal. So a yank by a tow truck wrecked some havoc

The race cars have a different set up. The innercooler is inside that side scoop on the engine cover. ( its significantly bigger than the stock ones.
The endurance cars also had plumbing to suck...

During this cars last outing back in the day it suffered some body damage, and I believe a blown engine.

Working on getting the innercooler scoop and engine cover fitted. ( they came from a different car)
We had to cut off one bar on the roll cage to aid in fitting it. We will bend a new tube to fit...

Had to machine a trigger wheel to go on to crank. Rather then put it on the outside of the pulley and have it possibly have more wear and tear, ( more distance out from the crank)
Instead machined...

Got power to the stand alone , now running the engine wiring harness. Serious spaghetti. Laptop and program on the system makes it much easier....

We had a bit of a problem modifying the throttle linkage to fit the new pedals.
Ran all hydraulic lines , master cylinders are floor mounted , reservoirs in frunk.
Also got the relays etc for...
