I do see one issue with that...

Could you use the hole in the bumper to run the tow loop all the way to the engine subframe? Do you have any pics of the hose routing for the turbo air cooling?

I did this in addition to shortening the stalk. Made the 1-2 and 3-4 shifts go from a 12 inch throw to just over 5 inches.
Just be careful if you're going to lengthen the bottom. The levers/cable...

After seeing what you're doing with the pedals, are you going to move the shifter forward / up a little if the cables reach?

That's quite a stable you have there . Consulier looks right at home. Sounds / looks like that series 2 has some interesting options ( fire system, dual wipers, engine cover intake ). Congrats!
