I think as long as they have 225/50 tires on them they should be 6.5 wide, 6 wide *should* have 205/60s.
I really want to ditch my lace wheels...

That bar is going to be a lot wider, but could probably be cut to fit. Many of them are curved as well, while the Cavalier bar is straight.
