    Since i was going to Tucson on an independent contractor service car, i fill up when leaving Phoenix, leaving end destination and again back in Phoenix for tax purposes....gives me good fuel usage...

    The mpg was achieved with 90% of time at 75mph and 10% of stop and go traffic. The transmission is stock as far as i can tell, but i am running 205/65-15 tires.

    Seating height in the Caliber/Compass/Patriot overall is easier for me to get in and out of vs. the HHR, the trick on one of them would be to find one with a 2.4l engine which i am not seeing much...

    Pacifica is a VERRRY nice vehicle, but with the price of gas going up,up,...i'm afraid that i have to look at cars that have good MPG's... not to mention how much insurance on one could be!!!!

    Drove a 2008 Patriot Sport with 2.4 cvt automatic. From what i have read the trans is from th same compant that makes the CVT trans for Nissan Murano and Rogue. Any Patriot/ Compass owners here....
