Heh, that's where I get stuck on things like this, approx priority is mechanicals, bodywork, then deluxe rocket surgery upgrades...... annnnd... you usually see my cars running around in filler and...
I've managed before by hammering a nail each side of the bit then twisting out with vicegrips... depends how deep you snap though, but hard to see how you can manage to snap it very deep in a hole.
C'mon Mike, this is the wrong kind of karma to pay forward, you know that.
Though check there's something other than oxidation holding the fins to the pipes on the rad, I discovered this issue when I was running hot, couldn't find much wrong, but decided to pressure wash...
Those symptoms though, pretty generic to a lot of cars when you come to a stop when the AC compressor happens to be running.

Shame, somewhat in same boat, so if anyone is horny for a 1st gen mini to bolt those to...
Well I'd go easy on the tint, many LCDs seem dim enough with the sun on them anyway.... though physical brightness control knob wouldn't be a bad idea since it'll be barely bright enough to read at...
but just a thought before you get another part, hook up all 5 gates in parallel for TX, and just the one for RX
I think the drive current of an LS (Low power shottky) part is weak, however should trigger a logic high on 2V input so if you've got 5V tolerant incoming you should be good there, but I'm thinking...
just need a NOT gate
TTL level of course, 74 series part. can't get a NOT get a NAND tie inputs.
I've got the feeling that you can hack this to work with a USB port signal level to diag connector, just wiring and driver hax, no point converting to RS232 levels and back again......
BTW those headrest DVD screens come dirt cheap these days if you've only got room for 7" or so and don't want touch. Laptop guts hid somewhere with composite out will light 'em up.
If you don't...
Theoretically, you can just pick up a cheap android tablet, open it up, find the JTAG pads or connector, find the serial lines, break them out, enable serial on the tablet (probably requires root),...
I don't see the point of high, high precision, I do the 2x4 trammel bars, chalk marks, tape measures thing. It's said that if you get a "laser" alignment, go round the block and put it back on the...
Yah, I was implying a diesel one, hard to find though.
BTW if your thoughts turn to crew cab trucks, be very very wary of half tons. The reason is, they can have very low available payload, some...
BTW I was looking at '05 up XC90s as well, in the "tow something, carry whole family, don't get screwed at pump" bracket, but the pricing around here was nowhere near sane.... If you find grandpa...
I was looking at those, not the Saabs specific, but "those". Wanted to find a '05 to '07 one with the extra row. I snagged me the Town and Country though, which has me happyish so far, I say ish,...
They said that about $500 muscle cars in the 80s/90s :p
Understatement of the year, plus or minus 300 on the scale :banghead: if I was supposed to pay for that, I wouldn't.
Well that might be a new avenue then, "exotic" specialists.
Well no-one has tried it yet, but they probably stack ... :D
For suck through, if ye find ye a crappy little weedwhacker on the curb, smallest gas powered ones, you'll find a ~3/4" carby on one, cute wee thing, plumb that in just behind regular TB, put the WW...
The thing I've heard before about the large ford TBs is that they don't seal super well, so they get quite a bit of bleed air around the plate, so can "work" with the IAC sealed off.
