+1! yup, had to do the same on the 87 pacifica. the speakers will sit in there decently, but you gotta watch your legs when you push on the door to get out. I remember having to pull the door panel...

you can deff buy a HEP sensor from advanced or autozone, and they arent terribly expensive (10-20$ i think...) its just one bolt(or two) to pull off the distributor cap and the HEP sits inside with...
