Thanks, cool.
Should I leave the wiring intact or can I clip it at the connector and cap it?
Hello,
Trying to start putting car back together after 5 long years, so its time to become a regular poster, I guess. I was looking at the 50 pin bulkhead disconnect for a 90 G/J body car. Bought...
I've lost heating in 3 of my cars after the powdery stuff, but I've never really had a problem with the liquid. Customers used to buy it and I never heard a complaint afterwards either.
I loved tfc, too many years wasted playing that game, I don't think I ever played anything past quake 2 :( anyone on steam?
A guy I worked with racked up over 250K on his 00 focus, 2.0, the suspension wasn't great, but it was great on gas. Brakes were cheap enough. I think he went with a sable as his next car due to his...
stuff works great. have done it on all my cars now, plus a few friends. One was a 95 F350 5.8, we managed to smoke out a considerable portion of route 1 :-P seems the less care a motor got, the more...
No issue, got them faster than I expected. Much faster, actually... Thanks man!
put me down for 1 set too, please.
I personally thought about using foamboard from the home depot after ripping mine out, only to find there wasn't a readily available replacement. I would imagine the 3/8" thick board would be sturdy...
you can "rent" a spring compressor from autozone, or buy one from harbor freight for cheap if you plan on keeping it for a while.
how's the rocker panel and subframe look underneath? are you thinking of installing a roll cage for rollovers or just to strengthen things up?
has he tried the cryo treatment?
+1 on computer cases, get the 1mm thick ones from like a full tower atx, nice and heavy for welding in and they hold the shapes better. Using it to fix the rocker panels.
They came out nice. If you took the time to socket the ECM you might as well make it look nice too.
one thing to try at autozone: batteries over 6 months old MUST be sold as "used" and IIRC its like a 90 day free replacement and 1 year prorated warantee, but either way its still a new battery and...
Autozone brand batteries. The only time someone has had an optima explode is if they try to fast charge it, apparently they don't like to be charged on a high amp setting.
If anyone cares to know, we've had quite a few red top autozone batteries pop after charging them and trying to load test them lately. I'm surprised, the manufactorer is supposed to be such a great...
85/6, definately.
