Im in the same situation. Tore off the valve cover n didnt really see anything. So im goin to try lookin in the spark plug hole. If it is a valve guide or blowby how do we fix that? #4 plug is dirty...

I have the same problem n now im startin to think its the exhaust valve seal. When i floor it runs good. When i let off thats when it pours out and at idle. So the vaccuum on decel would make sense....

Good point on the mbc. Yea the +40s r kinda pricey. Is there another injector u reccomend or just get them from fwd perf.?

So u stuff the rope in to fill up cylinder before sqeezing cylinder up to keep the valves from dropping. Thats a freakin good idea! So ur saying i can fix it the right way without takin the head off...

Could i use stock fuel press reg. With all that. Would all these upgrades affect drivability? Ive read in other threads that i could stick with the stock fpr and lines?
