Or just put in a 3.0L motor/harness/PCM from any of the thousands of SBEC-II cars still around. Then custom turbocharge it.
But then again, I am quite biased about the motor.

NO, they spin in the same direction as ours. They're just mounted backwards.
I've personally seen 12 psi of boost pressurizing our stock motors. But that was with a moderate tune.
As stated above, they (2.2/2.5) will work for the 3.0L. Now, if you don't want to spend that much on a performance part, Autozone sells resurfaced stock units for a good price. Luckily when I did my...
You know what I'd recommend!!!!!
Oh wait, didn't I do that for you?:D
I hope you're happy with your current setup.
Believe it or not, the 543's use the same input shaft as the 523 and 568. The only thing you have to worry about is weather it's a large spline or small spline input shaft.
Glad to have been of service.
Yea, I seem to know where to get certain things, eh?
I had a great time. I just wished I could have stayed longer to have met more of you. I did have some engaging conversations. And as always, Gary, good to see you again. Don't be a stranger. Come on...
I'm just up the road about an hour or so. I'm visiting my parents in Williamsport.
I'd better see you there!!!
Maybe you can see the damage that my Minivan has received on the roadtrip up to PA.
I talked to the new owner today. He is having too much fun with the car. I guess a few honda and some mitsubishi owners are crying over being run down by the "Headless Horseman".
Yes, he's kept...
looks like I just might make it to this year's event!!!!
I will be in PA during the week, and hoping to be able to get down there on Saturday. If anyone sees a guy, walking with a redhead and 4...
SOLD!!!
Thanks for all who were interested. And thanks for the comments from others who have followed my progress with the car over the past 11 years.

Yup, that's right folks. The "Headless Horseman" is up for sale.
Many of you here might have followed it's buildup. And for those who haven't....

You're probably right. I will need the early spooling setup for any kind of towing/hauling I may do with the van. With a class III receiver hitch, and load levelers, I'll need all the down low torque...
Transmission is done!!!
My dad drove the van for me today, and said it was smoother than his 2007 Nissan Altima's transmission. Power comes in really smooth, or so he says. But he had concerns...
Well, if he's in FL, depending on which part, he can get up with Reaper1. He has a very "unique" daytona. His daytona was originally owned by Rick Lozier. And it has some very high end modification...
well, what all do you want out of the motor?
As far as "bolt-ons", there are plenty you can choose from. But the big gain items will require a bit of fabrication and getting inside your motor.

I'm looking to add a full T4 to my newly acquired minivan. I am just looking for feedback on which would be the perfect T4 combination. I've already got my eyes on either the T04b's TS04 and V trim,...
Oh, I've got some good ideas for this van already!!!!
Something is telling me, with all the under hood room it has, a T4 will fit quite nicely. And in the most inconspicuous location too.:eyebrows:
Well, the transmission lasted all of 60 miles before it gave up the ghost. Glad I tried to drive it a day or so before embarking on a long trip (with lebaron in tow) back to NC. That could have been...
I got the new (used) trans yesterday, plus new fluids/filters/seals/sensors. Today, I embark on the task of swapping out the transmissions. Wish me luck.
