I always used the stock seats on the +1mm valves unless the customer requested the new/larger seats. I think I only had 1 or 2 heads done up with new seats and +1mm valves. Typically if...

146 lbs is a good amount of seat pressure for a high performance head. That is strange that the engine builders you are speaking to say that 146 is way too high. Most high-revving race motors have a...
lol, it's as easy as that. :thumb:
What set of rules are you going by that would make you want to go through that much work?
No problem.
Piping is sold.
? No, these were never included in the deal on the intercooler. Up until now, I had always planned on keeping this piping for a buddy's turbo neon project.
From our PM's:
lol, I'll pm ya.
I added a pic in the first post of the engine bay. There are more pipes/couplers here than what is needed to do my setup (ie. I had a lot of extra stuff).

Hey Ralph,
Sorry for the delay. I have a picture up now, it is the one without the center cap. It is mostly just clear peeling, but it does have some scratches. No major gouges or chips, though.
I have 2 Centurian II wheels.
One is in nice shape. Has a few scratches. $50 + shipping
The other is a good wheel, but the clear is peeling so it has blemishes. $25 + shipping
You probably have a cam with a smaller base circle. Check if there is a gap between the follower and the cam lobe when the valve is shut. If there is, you need to shim the lifters more. However, with...
400whp on an 8 valve is not easy. You will need a very well ported head. The stock cam is very good for most cars, but 400hp is going to need something larger. There are several aftermarket cams to...
Too bad you have to let the car go, Jim. Such a beautiful car with the power to back up its good looks!
Thanks guys! Let me know how the car runs when you get it installed and if you have any questions about anything, don't hesitate to ask!
Yes, +1mm exhausts on the early heads are good too. As good as these heads flow on the exhaust side, the standard size ('95-'99) is usually more than plenty. But if you have the money for valves &...
The 95-99 heads had oval exhaust ports, but larger valves. The SRT-4 heads have square ports, with smaller valves. Put the larger valves in the SRT-4 for the best flowing combination.
turbo-tease: the decal is pending sale right now, but I will let you know if something doesn't work out.
2.2 quik: sorry, the wheels have already been sold
2-4* advanced worked best for me with that cam.
Prices significantly dropped!
