Me as well... end of this summer is my goal...
you get 40-48 mpg?
the problem with the distributor is not height clearance... the problem is that it occupies the same spot as the thermostat housing...
turbo is on the to-do list for me as well... twins would be nice, but i'd put them on the end of a log manifold...
well done, though, wink... i'll be looking forward to seeing the finish of this
it should flow much better... plus i now have a much larger throttle body... 60+ mm vs. 48 stock (i moved up to a 52 mm, but still this is huge!)
also... heat shield will not beat enough out of...
probably would have been more complicated, but i would have went with individual runners... air flow is going to be quite turbulent in that manifold...
either that or a log setup with the turbo on...
if they are daytona's with the newer interior (91-93), then i need a center console...
hmmm... would a dremel + a metal cutting disc work better?
the heat shield is definately in the way... whats required to remove that?
hmmm... i'm still trying to figure out exactly what all has to be done... i have a fuel rail, lower intake, plenum, tb, a few sensors, hoses... i'm kinda confused
i tried putting it on... it wont
and get rid of the crossover pipe... wont clear that either....
A diamante 3.0L intake will not fit a chrysler 3.0L... the thermostat housing is in the way of the distributor...
i'd like to see pictures too... and see if its possible to get something other than a t3 turbo... i'm thinking... t4 :D
also... is it a crossover mounted turbo or is it located elsewhere?
2nd...
they are exactly to par... and the reason we say "cheap" is due to the fact that the only other ones we could buy were $112 for a pair...
i was planning on making a log manifold for front and back... basically identical to eachother....
perhaps wont flow as well as true headers, but much better than stock...
some things you just cant argue... just accept it and triumph in cheapness
if you can't find one (which is rediculous, they are all over the place), i have a spare one ;)
i'm purchasing the intake set from a diamante from kandamotorsports... hopefully that brings a...
Well, i think i may have found the cheapest flanges available for our 3.0L's... so for those wanting to make custom headers...

$29.99 each...

When comparing a turbocharged vs. n/a in a high altitude setting, its two different situations...
While the n/a engine is losing power due to having air that is less dense (has very little to do...
Looking for a center console (between the seats) for a 91+ dodge daytona or possibly a lebaron (should be similar styles... in fact, any car with the same interior should be the same center console)...
Well, I've got a spare 3.0L that will be going under the knife soon...
From what I've read, the 3.0L SOHC have horrible heads... has anyone had any success in porting and polishing them?
I'm...
at what times is the timing retarded on the 3.0L? if you could send the same signal using a home made knock sensor, wouldnt that work? just wire it into an existing sensor that causes the computer to...
