I've been running a custom made set of side gears comes out to a 3.93 final drive ratio with the 3.06 ring and pinion. I've got about 200 runs on them. Took the cover off today and they look fine

Raising it from 80 to 105 did the trick. No flare on the 2 to 3 shift.

No I'm sure you turn it counterclockwise to raise it. Clockwise to lower it.

Ran it though the gears on the jack stands yesterday. Partial throttle and applying brakes. It went through all 3...

I dropped the pan to make sure my clutches weren't in the pan. Looked fine.
I also was able to turn out the adjuster a bit more. I now have 100 pounds at 2,000 rpms in third gear.

I've had a problem with the 2 to 3 shift flairing up to 1,000 rpms during the shift. I've adjusted the kickdown band a few different settings but it didn't make any difference.

Thanks thats what I needed. I thought someone said the put a 1/2" pipe plug in there. And I couldn't figure exactly where to put it. For 1/4" I can see it will work.

The throw and the sequence will be infinetly adjustable it can shift as many times as is programmed. It has been tested on powerglides and 3 speed turbo 400's.
