Re: New guy with lots of questions

Yes, brand new struts/spring/mount kit. I assume they will settle some after driving. also had the theory of the van springs sagging, but its seemed pretty high in the front before so wasn't sure.

Re: New guy with lots of questions

So I just got done with installing my Daytona Struts and Coils and I only got about an inch and a half in the front. Slightly disappointed. Anybody know why?

Re: New guy with lots of questions

Anyone know what the actual thread size is for the charge temp sensor? Going to have the manifold drilled and tapped while it's at the shop.

Re: New guy with lots of questions

If I order a rebuild kit and ordered one for a Diamante I should get 10:1 Pistons right? Everything else should work as well? Whats the cutoff for the different ring sizes?

Re: New guy with lots of questions

Master, as stated I have dug around in the vendor section. I have no problem supporting a forum vendor. My problem is most of it is 4cyl stuff obviously. The few things I have found for the 3.0 have...

Re: New guy with lots of questions

So engine and trans are out and being torn down time to get to business:

Re: New guy with lots of questions

Stupid question, If I swap an auto in from a car that means its a 413 right? Meaning I loose a lockup torque converter. But I could put a lockup converter in it right and have essentially the same...

Re: New guy with lots of questions

That actually doesn't look too low at all. Im running 16" wheels on a 215/55 tire right now. I did the measurement and a 3" drop should still give me plenty of trans pan clearance. Any word on...

Re: New guy with lots of questions

Awesome. I assume searching is exactly as it sounds, taking the curve out of the leafs. Assume this is accomplished with heat and a press? Like I said 2" all around seems to be perfect. Do you think...

Re: New guy with lots of questions

Awesome response. Are you sure about the 604? The 604 is a 4spd trans not put into production until 1989. and I believe this is a 3spd. As far as towing/etc not really. I think two inches all around...

New guy with lots of questions

Hi guys! So not sure if this is the right place to post but since I have multiple questions I figured I would put it here instead of creating multiple threads. I have acquired a 1988 Voyager LE with...
