  2. Re: Intro and Update: Slugmobile and Mean Mini! (long read, but worth it)

Wayne, your axle deal reminded me of these axle stabilizing bearing/seals.

I've never used them or know anyone who has but do you think they may have helped with the axle jamming??

    Maybe no...

  6. Re: Intro and Update: Slugmobile and Mean Mini! (long read, but worth it)

What diff. is in trans. this Wayne??

If it's a stock type you could pound the broken part out from the other side.

You would have to remove the cover to access and remove the the diff pin....
  7. Re: Intro and Update: Slugmobile and Mean Mini! (long read, but worth it)

Wayne I cant think of a problem if it fits, but I'm not sure if there are any fitting problems.

Possibly could start a new thread on "venturi jet fuel pump modules", or "fuel pump module in...
  8. Re: Intro and Update: Slugmobile and Mean Mini! (long read, but worth it)

Wayne, I haven't actually tried the 1994 style pump in a 1989, but if I read Vigo correctly, he has.

Also I believe he said he installed the older style pump in the plastic can.

    I don't know if...
  9. Re: Intro and Update: Slugmobile and Mean Mini! (long read, but worth it)

Sorry Wayne, I didn't mean to use the G.P, pump, it was just a link explaining how the genius "jet pump" works.

As Vigo suggested the 1994 Caravan pump fits the older Caravan tank.

    The "jet...
  10. Re: Intro and Update: Slugmobile and Mean Mini! (long read, but worth it)

Some/many/all modules ?? have a venturi just like a jet pump.

I'm not sure if the 1994 style does or not but a 1997 I worked on does.

Very ingenious device, just like the jet pump that's used...
  11. Re: Intro and Update: Slugmobile and Mean Mini! (long read, but worth it)

Wayne, have you considered a fuel pump module, I believe they were used in Caravans from around 1993.

One of its purposes was to eliminate tank baffles.

    Thanks

Hey Wayne, sounds like you are doing well!!

Your Talon BOV mod reminds me of the last diagram on Gus's page about BOV's.

He shows how to make a plastic BOV live under high boost and I copied...
  14. Re: Intro and Update: Slugmobile and Mean Mini! (long read, but worth it)

Gus once told me he purposely made all his wiring etc. look crappy just for kicks.
When people saw or heard about his 12 sec. runs, they expected to see some polished aftermarket items in his engine...
