    ya same here, in addition, I added a battery/IGN/Gnd distribution terminal strip on the dash right behind the cluster. If I need power, I just need to pop the cluster out.

    Brian, my concern is not only the driver but other circuits that MAY be missing on the non turbo SMEC. I don't have a non turbo SMEC so I am unsure.

    I am working on reverse engineering of SBEC and the drivers are very different for EFI vs Turbo. The turbo are Low Z as we know. If the 88/89 V6 injectors are Low Z than you maybe OK.

    Hi Randy,
    I would suggest you check a few item
    1)make sure C drive is not full
    2)clear browser cache
    3)remove unused programs
    4)defrag your drive

    Not sure, Warren's thought was reverse EMF aka flyback. this theory could be tested via reverse bias diode to ground. I was thinking either a volt drop on the 12V battery line was causing the odd...
