Yep. Remans go without warning. A new one will give hints that it is dying.
Somebody should contact NTSB about outlawing remans. We can all refer TV stations to this thread and start a campaign.

I used to rebuild wheel cylinders. An old guy told me one important thing. To clean the gunk off the piston flat by rubbing it in brake fluid on the concrete floor.

I agree from 40 years ago. Most often when the fail, it is without the usual warning signs. Just NO BRAKES!!!!!!
