A.J., I bought my gauge from the link I posted but the flex fuel sensor can be found for around $65 on ebay. Or around $80 from one of the GM parts outlets. I used the one for a Cadillac part number...

My experience today with the inconsistency. I filled up at my usual station expecting the normal winter blend of E67,
started the car and watched the Zeitronix gauge...

Thanks for the offer Ron, but I bought 2 off ebay plus found 2 at pick-n-pull so I'm back up to 4 spares. I originally had 4 spares. Thought I had a lifetime supply. :banghead: Used 1 in by brothers...

If you have how long did it last.
Oh, that's purdy.
Larry, ever get your post written up on the balancer mod? :eyebrows:
No, I got lazy and just posted a couple of pictures in my gallery. It's...
Since Shadow gave up I'll take a shot.
Too bad it's Easter weekend, otherwise I'd try to make it down. It's more interesting when there's stuff you haven't watched on the rollers.[/QUOTE

Either the Sundance or the Laser. I never miss a local dyno day even if it's just to spectate.
JT Autosports dyno day March 30th & 31st .
High impedance injectors will turn on the check engine light. At least it did on my 1988 Sundance. I ordered some 55lb injectors from Racetronix and they made a mistake and sent me high impedance...
If your a believer in higher levels of zinc and phosphorus in your oil, here's an interesting chart for Mobil One: http://www.mobiloil.com/USA-English/MotorOil/Files/Mobil_1_Product_Guide.pdf
Thanks for the quick response, but I think I will pass. Holding out for one with at least 3 layers.
The arrow in the attached picture is pointing at one of 3 sets of straps around the pressure plate. Are the straps 3 layers thick or 2 layers? Do you take paypal?
Previous best was 11.13 (never posted that slip). According to a et,hp,mph calculator I used it should run 10.1 at 132. I don't see that happening. It was a pretty clean run except for a minor brain...

Definitely HE351. The solenoid mount and original wastegate actuator mount were cut off and smoothed out. The wastegate actuator mount in the picture was cut off a HE341 because it was a little...
Same turbo. I also recently switched to a wastegate actuator off a Mercedes diesel.
Thanks Rob, I'm anxious to see how high you take your 8 valve.
Sorry no pressure tap. It was my first time to that dyno shop and the temperature was in the 40's I'm sure that boosted the numbers....
Pics of the header are in my gallery. The Fluiddamper I'll have to pull off and add the picture to my gallery later in the week.
E85 for the fuel

Didn't touch the compressor side.
It's a direct bolt in to the center section, just have to open up the turbine housing. I used one of those Harbor Freight 20pc. sanding drum kits with the largest drum on my drill press to open the...
Another dyno chart from last week. Engine specs: 2.5 with the 1997 Neon DOHC head, Holset HE351 turbo, J&E pistons, SRT4 eagle rods, Crower SRT4 Stage 1 cams, header, full 3.5" exhaust. E85 fuel.

Another carnage picture to add to my collection. Broke this last november about 3 weeks after I swapped out my stock flywheel for a 4 pound heavier Dakota flywheel.
Simon, I only had the 2.2 in the car over the winter months Nov-Feb. I couldn't feel any difference between the 2.2 and the old 2.5. But to be honest I'm not very good a noticing changes unless...
