Update: So after a Super60 install in 2013 that put down 245hp/295tq the turbo let go. Oil everywhere. Probably should have had a restrictor in line. OOPS.

Car suddenly bogs under a few PSI boost and begins smoking under decel and idle. A problem I fought before and eventually ended up fixing (or patching) with a better PCV setup.
Well this time no...
Running lean and mean there. Over 12:1 for a couple of those runs.
There's a little room left in the traction department. As soon as it starts blowing the tires off in 3rd it'll be a complete waste. Hell, even the winter tires stay stuck pretty well through 2nd.

I'm really just looking for 275hp/300tq on pump gas... brace yourself for this next bit... reliably.
I can't justify taking it any further because I would just end up building a whole new...
93 Sunoco. Daily driven winter beater.

Thanks for the review guys. I think the final plan is to port everything and run a couple PSI less boost.
Nah, big cast looking thing. 3" thick and covers the whole radiator...

Just hit a dyno with the Omni and I'm checking with the community to verify the results.
I have a 2.2L with a Turbonetics Super 60 (.63 A/R) pushing through a stock 2pc intake, swirl head with a...
I hope you're happy, Cindy. You are just the worst kind of enabler. There isn't even anybody LEFT to hold an intervention. My whole family is addicted to boost. We slave night and day to afford that...
Well, The omni is low but the stance isn't perfect just yet (a tad sunken and not aligned yet). So I'll leave you with a pics of my daily beater....

You have balloon rubber, offset doesn't appear to leave your wheels flush, and your squared wheel openings demand that you at least tuck the tire to look low. But like you said, you want a well...
Thanks. I like to think that it's proof that you can give a car an aggressive stance without stretching 185s over 10" rims, running stupid camber, or dragging your oil pan.
So all previous mention...
My bad, I thought this thread was for TMs with flush wheel fitment and low ride height. Apparently it's for discussing the tire industry, cone dodging, and what we do for a living.
I really should...
That's not helping.

And I'm saying neither the stance or wheel fitment is aggressive. So take your skyjacked 3400lbs car and nerd lisp to a "turbo moparsh wisth...
Looks stock. Drop it another inch and offset the wheels so you can't see the fender liners.
Also: A1 Cardone sucks. The monkeys overtightened a plug (w/ spring) on the pump and destroyed the nylon seal. I have 1 night left to get this car ready for inspection and the pump is pissing...
I just picked it up because it was readily available (unlike the 14:1 rack). I'm sending my GLH rack out to be rebuilt.
1st gen Neon 16:1 power rack from Rock Auto modded for a 1985 GLH:
3/8-24 plug where Neon pressure sensor would go...

You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. It took a GIRL to bring visceral yet stylistic high-def event coverage laced with dubstep tracks to this community.

Oh I fixed the trim alright. Fixed it good...

I'm jealous of those floorboards. You might have just motivated me to do the same in my "rust free" GLHT.
No, the idler for the serp belt is standard. Anything around a TIII timing belt is or soon will be a rare part.
Although Cindy organized a run of new TIII timing tensioners and idler pullies a...
I lost an idler pully bearing on my R/T around 140K miles. The balls flew out and the pulley was spinning on the races and scraping the block. A very terrifying sound when you are 700 miles from...
I hate how the wheel arch flats carry into the front spoiler. It would be so simple to roll them straight if you could figure out how to fix that.
Otherwise... that's a beautiful setup.
