Found today that one of the rail mount bolts fell out. Does anyone happen to know the size? They are the button head Allen head bolts that thread into the bottom of the intake. I would pull one out...
Ive had a few towed to me like that and we've never been able to recover them right. Seems as though the SKIM is sure that it's correct and the PCM is sure that the SKIM is out of the loop. Usually...
Go to the local dodge dealer and ask for a can of rust penetrant. The mopar branded stuff is awesome, will bubble and foam up on rust like battery acid on concrete.
All this time I've been living 40 min from a member and never knew it. I am in New Philia all the time.
Looking at Tryingbe's build I see that the top end is almost identical to mine. Same FM head with the IMSA sized valves, and BMF, and hybrid turbo (mine is a 50 trim)
Mine is a 2.5 and has a stock...
Last year I waited in line to get in for 3 hours, then got one run and snapped an axle. Not really fun anymore. If I went I would go to hang out and crack the van off the 2 step to scare the hondas....
The heater core is mounted more towards the center of the dash.
I did the same thing on mine but used a clear deck port. My clutch cycling switch on my A/C is broken so I can watch the evaporator ice up and turn the compressor off manually.
Received mine and have not had the chance to assemble it. Everything looks great though, thank you for all the work in making this project come together.
Oh ok, that's good that it's fixed. I was just thinking if you ever got the fuel mileage thing figured out or not. I got a 91 non intercooled a while back and I've done a lot to it. Added...
What did the shop end up doing?
You can leave mine untouched
test away
Ordered and paid. Everything worked on the site. Thanks!
I will take a DIY kit please with clone
Look like they were done with a step bit
Any type of misfire will cause an O2 sensor to read lean. O2 sensors read oxygen and a non firing cylinder is not using up any of the available oxygen so looking at the wideband for a diagnosis will...
We see it mainly on the vans and promasters, especially on the promasters. I think it's the idle time and heavy load that does it. Iv'e pulled 80k plugs that had over .100 gap from wear.
I've seen a few noisy water pumps, no bad bearings, just a rubbery squeaky noise. Bleeder on thermostat leaks sometimes and you'll get the coolant crusty buildup. Thedon mentioned the roller rockers....
Also, caliper brackets for the 84-90 15in vans are hard to come by, the 91+ ones are available right from the parts store. Also more brake pad availability on the 91+ setup.
You need to install the 91+ bolt in bearing knuckles then order calipers/brackets for a 91+ van with 15in wheels. Then if you want to keep 5x100 bolt pattern you need to order rotors for a spirit r/t...
I think it was a manufacturing issue with the newer housings. They have 2 well plugs near the base of the filter stanchion that are friction welded in place, the later model ones had issues with...
I only see the newer ones leak at the cooler. The 13 and back design had a poor drainback valve that would break easily during service and was only serviceable with the cooler assembly. The newer...
Following. I wouldn't mind assembling my own if there were a BOM for each board. I want the flashable 4 play for the van.
