This is about what I had in mind as far as the how was concerned. Is the dash separate from the heater box? Is there any "tricks" or odd parts of the dash on one of these that I should know about...

So I have finally gotten around to fully inspecting and planning out what I am going to do to my 1988 Aries and among replacing every line on the car I also need to repair the floor pans just behind...
Sounds good to me! Ironicly I just turned it on today and blew out the brake lines......guess I'm going under it anyway so I'll do the tank too
That will bolt up to my head right? How cheap are we talking........also I assume from the 15 psi statement in going to have to go through the fun of fuel tank removal and a pump upgrade arnt I?
I was just gonna shove a 70% larger injector in and phase the cam foward a little and pray the wideband agrees with my decision lol!
In all seriousness if it lines up near 13.5 at wot I'll be...
Anything near 200whp in this thing would be super! Honestly I would be happy with 150ish considering the weight and intended use
dumb question but is a blow through setup possible with the stock...
Car is a 1988 Dodge Aries 2 door LE with AC.
Yeah you are probably right.......lol!
My last (currently almost done) project involved a ram 1500, a crapload of custom fab, custom suspension changes and a 5.9 magnum that now makes near...
I kinda already have this one though and it's in very good shape considering the price, all mechanicals works and paint is not totally gone.
What would I need to do to add in a factory cruise control system? I assume it is a vaccume system in this vehicle but would like to make sure before I start ordering parts.
Also I need a center...
I'll get on it gathering what is needed for a turbo 1/2 conversion, should be right in line with what I want from this car
Impressive. However I do want to keep the original engine family (2.2/2.5) in the car instead of swapping a new one, call it personal taste I guess......
Uh I did not know that, never honestly tried to drive it on an interstate yet. Mine is NA though so.......will that cut it or no?
My skill level is very high, just got done building...
Goal is a fun to drive daily that is able to keep up with modern traffic speeds, its currently an NA auto 2.2. I can fairly easily add a turbo to it.
What mopar head would be best? I believe I have the fast burn head currently
Okay based on what has been said so far I have a fundemental misunderstanding of how to upgrade this engine family. I am coming from bigger inch V8s and blown V8s and with those cam is normally one...
Just like the title says, does anyone know of a manufacture that I can readily order a better cam and associated hardware for a 1988 2.2? Thanks!
Well thanks for the info! Helpful to know I probably won't realistically kill this thing from over-Revving it
Holy crap that is high, I was not expecting that! Will it auto shift or will I have to let off?
Does a 1988 dodge arris 2.2 have any sort of rev limiter? Will it automaticly upshift when I get to said redline if I'm simply holding it at WOT?
This is thing has no tach and according to my ear...
So purely because some one brought it up, how much would this car go for to someone here? Seatbelts seem to work but now I'm weighing my options if this thing is worth a bit toward my supercharger...
Okay, I'll test them tommorow at the 4th gathering in going to, thanks for explaining how they work everyone!
So should I test them by braking really hard at fair speed? Sorry not used to this system, current car has electronic pre-tensioning and locks up.
Just to clarify what does NOS mean? Also am I able to buy directly from you?
It is a 2 door and aside from the things mentioned everything works.....
