They are DOT, I was going off what the person who i bought them from. He was saying they are close to European Spec. And a hellva brighter than the usual sealed beams, so thats why I bought them

UPDATE:
I got the trans out, and removed the clutch and pressure plate. Seems like the clutch got hot and glazed over. Also the flywheel has hairline cracks on it, so it looks like I will have to...
Kept my extra good one outside in the weather with no coolant, oops. But now I got my lazy self up and put it in the shed. Lol.
