I had the same issue with my Saturn. Had to go back to stock ride height. That was the only thing that worked to get rid of the vibration.

Thanks for being the guinea pig! I was going to get one myself but I don't need to get one for quite awhile. My car is still in pieces.
Just to be sure, the 3 bar map sensor from the 89 trans am turbo will work? It will be at 0 volts at 0 psi? I found it on eBay for only $21. It has the common GM fitting. I will try to paste the...
I don't yet have a chip burner so this would be an easy choice for me. Sounds like it would be simple to use with MP Tuner, too.
bump.....I'd like to know too!
Excellent! Thanks for sharing this with all of us!
Awesome! I've read the instructions for d-cal and chem a million times, but I never understood how and why I needed to run the batch file. Thanks!!!
Why not put a copy of it in the code repository and then the rest of us could take a look at it?? I'm looking for a good G-head cal.
Sounds great! I like simple since I'm new to tuning. I did see a slightly cheaper version of what u bought ($75) but it did not come with a case. The case sounds like a good idea.
I would like...
Futurelec and mcumall has PLCC232 to DIP28 adapters for $8 or less. Futurelec sells eeprom 28C256 PLCC chips. Could that be a good, easy alternative?
Thanks for the reply. Your programmer looks pretty nice and easy. If it's easier to use than the williem, than I'm in!
Thanks Risen!! I was hoping someone would do this someday. I have played around with editing cals myself but always get messed up with what to do first and how to properly save. I can never get a...
Vout 2 is what you want to use. It is regulated but Vout 1 is not (if I remember correctly). I got that info from the creator of JAW. I tried to do what you want to do and it does work, but you...
Crusty Shadow: My JAW was only $70 and the sensor was $51. I had close to $80 in wire, connectors, wideband connector, lots of wire, solder, 2 project boxes, serial cable, wire loom, etc. All the...
Looks like the right chip to me. That's the one that is obsolete now (from mouser).
I have one (I am Tbone on TurboDodge). I used it on my Saturn. It is the older version (not the 1.041). It takes some time to get it dialed in when using the NB simulated signal. You have to...
Were they used or new? If new...what site?
The main EEprom chip that everyone was using (27SF512) is obsolete now.
The UV chip erasers can be had for under $23 on ebay. Search UV Eprom Eraser. Should take less than 10 minutes to erase a chip, but the device I saw had a timer for up to 60 minutes.
Probably a dumb question, but will the new Willem progammer (PCB 5.0) work well for our cars (1987 specifically)? It looked like it would be an improvement over the PCB 4.5 but I wanted to ask to...
Anyone look at Futurlec? There prices are great and they have most of the chips our cars use. They have the 27C512 but i did not see the 27SF512. I am not sure of the difference, though.

Awesome Rob! I was just asking about minidash in another post. I thought it would be the most convient way to datalog and very cheap since you don't have to lug a laptop around. I can't wait to...
Wow...Thanks guys! I should be pretty dangerous now. Any word on the zChem datalogging? Is it just through Chem190?
