its out of a 1996 evo the first ones to have the tranny swapped to the other side. the ealier ones (i'm just guessing), but by the way it look less/to no wiring for the tranmission. what do you guys...
thanks!!
which wires are what? ground, 12v for heater, 12v for signal and signal return right? which are which?
i was thinking of that but, i was concerned about the excess getting into the turbo. i guess a thin layer on the out side would help.
i have my head off right now and for the second time there's a small exhaust leak leaving soot on my intake manifold. i've never had to put a gasket there and i'm thinking i should. but what type? i...

i'll try it for sure thanks again!
i've done it the way your talking about with the cam cap and it still does this. i've double triple checked timing. where do you consider tdc? the point it reaches tdc or right before it starts to...
not sure if we are on the right page but if the disty was 180 out it wouldn't run it would back fire like crazy. funny thing is the car is running better with out the temp sensor plugged than it has...
i understand how to set the timing infact this is exactly how i do it but its still not running right and when i read this http://www.turbo-mopar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21120 it threw me off...
i think so...... well ever since i seen the post about the cam timing and how you line it up with the casting marks, but it doesn't line up with the timing cover i'm not sure. i have the disty turned...
not sure, i f'd up when i put the engine in and forgot to put the flywheel on in accordance with tdc now the converter mark is off, way off doesn't show.
well i got it running finnally but it will only run/idle when i pull the conector off the temp sensor? with the temp sensor unplugged the fan turns on and it runs fine still smokes a little black...
i had a garrett in my 2.5 daytona but i have an auto so boosting wasn't a problem. plus i have a front mount so it did better than the mitsu. funny thing is that my fastest time was with a mitsu?
lol i've been debating on donating it to the coral reef here in guam too!!!!
:amen:you just shed new light to my problem same crap was happening to me. i would line the cam up according to the little casting lines but i don't have a cam cover to show me that it would be off...
