We'll just get you on an AEM and you'll be all set. Rumor is some guy around here uses their stuff a lot, and can do some nifty things with it. ;)

You would just need one avilable input. Not sure if you have one on that system or not. Pretty sure that system was designed to run a Dominator, right?! Ha, kidding of course! I'd rather have it then...
Don't need anything fancy like that, just a simple VSS input from a rear wheel. :)
Which FAST are you on JT? Any internal boost control options with it? Settling down first and second gear on your car and a few others on the board would be worth it's weight in gold (ET). Not...
Keep the 3.50's and turn the boost up more for wheel speed. ;)
That's funny, I remember mentioning to you at the car show that I thought I heard you went a .50 something! HA!
Yeah, so is Lee's silver GTS ;)
HAHA! Yeah, a tad lightened indeed!
Great stuff JT. Nice to see the swap to 16V is shining through now! Care to share what boost you're at these days?
I just think it shows the car likes to sit in the rpms a bit more... no?
Lol, you need to ditch some of your overlays on there so it's easier to see!
However, follow me here. By my eyesight, am I not seeing maxed value of DC in first and second, tapering to less...
Even then -8 should be plenty. What's your base pressure? Do you log fuel pressure on your runs, or monitor it? Sometimes A-1000's aren't the most reliable pump, sometimes they are. Good practice...
JT, what pump are you on, and what size feed line?
Looks like an eddy current dyno from the pic. There are lots and lots of settings in those babies to make numbers all over the charts! I'd just put the 588 in your sig and feel like a bad --- :) ...
True, but aren't wheel bearing under a similar stress, and they're pressed? I always have to torch the heck out of the hubs to get the old ones out on my old Charger and the Daytona.
Yeah, have you seen them out of the engine? Interesting for sure. We had my roomates out of his car, since it randomly fragged the crank trigger and destroyed just about everything in the bottom...
I see where you're coming from with that in relation to RPM. I know where Paul placed most people's timing curves and how they typical 8V car reacted to them, and also comparitevly (spelling?) how...
It does, and you're right with your thinking. But even with a low rpm, typical TD setup... the VE is junk compared to most. Maybe junk is the wrong word, but it's far from ideal, especially if...
I would. Most pump gas cars with pent roofs will make plenty of power safely at around 17-18* advance at WOT at full boost, 20 psi or under. If you're going higher on pump gas without any aids,...
I don't know what he used to use for a signal, but I know that we had a Caprice used as a training aid, if the distributor got touched everything was out of wack.
Also, Honda's setup on AEM need...
I don't doubt you! I just still think it's unbelievable that the car would make the power you obivously were with so little timing. What were your EGT's like?
You get what's in the table, just...
No, zero experience on this. I've only tuned one auto car, a 596 cid brodix head'd 10-71 BDS running on FAST XFI in a backhalfed Nova using a brake'd 'glide and some gargantuan meats! It's always...
It's not an 8V, you're right. Without the background story you wouldn't quite understand where I was coming from with that. JT is fairly sure that when using FAST on his 8V setup that he was only...
Yup, that's what I was referring to.
I am still confused by you guys that are at 10-15* timing at WOT. Weak stuff man.
On the SRT4 stuff, a bunch of them run AFC's or other hack devices that make the pcm think they're at lower...
Me = big demand  :p
